Work with me

Three shapes. One direction.

Each is defined by what it puts in place, not by an output number. Most engagements start with the first and stop when the function runs without me.

Find the problem

Diagnostic

Current motion mapped end to end. RevOps stack audited against that motion. Funnel stalls located and evidenced. People and process assessed for gaps.

You end up withA written diagnosis and a build plan.
Fix it

Build

ICP, stages, qualification and handoff rules. Infrastructure and CRM built and connected. Hiring profile, first hires in seat and ramping. Governance cadence established.

You end up withA running sales function your team can operate.
Keep it running

Fractional

The team managed, reviewed and coached. Process adjusted as the market moves. RevOps stack owned and kept current. In the room when the number is discussed.

You end up withA sales function with a name attached to it.

The fractional shape

It comes at two levels.

Picking the wrong one wastes money, so it is worth being clear which problem you have.

Head of sales level, when

  • The motion is undefined and execution is inconsistent
  • Pipeline exists but does not convert predictably
  • The problem sits inside sales, not across the company

Revenue leader level, when

  • Sales, success and marketing disagree about revenue
  • The board wants a revenue leader in the room
  • You are past roughly $10M ARR with gaps between teams

Fit

Worth reading the second list first.

This works if

  • Founder led sales got you this far and has run out of hours.
  • You are entering a market nobody on the team has sold into.
  • You have salespeople already and the funnel stalls at the same stage again and again.
  • There is someone internal who can own this after the handover.

This does not work if

  • You want outbound run by an outside team forever, with nobody internal to take it over.
  • You want a guaranteed number of meetings in writing.
  • There is nobody internal to hand the function to at the end.
  • The product has not yet been sold to anyone, by anyone.

Before you ask

The questions worth answering first.

When should I stop selling personally?

When there are enough closed deals to see a pattern, not when you run out of hours. Hire before the pattern exists and your first rep is running an experiment on your budget.

Rep first, or leader first?

If the motion is written down and someone can coach it, hire the rep. If it is not, the rep will improvise one and you will inherit whatever they improvise.

Why no guarantee on meetings?

Nobody can promise meetings in a market they have not tested. Anyone who does is pricing the risk into the fee. What I commit to is that the function exists and is visible in your data.

How soon does anything happen?

The setup comes first, so outbound does not burn your domains. Then the data starts to show what works. If you need meetings right away, an agency will serve you better.

Do you work with our existing team?

Usually. Part of the work is finding out whether the problem is the people, the process or the stack. It is rarely all three.

What happens at the end?

A documented handover with a review cadence your team can run. Staying on is a separate decision, not a renewal baked into the contract.

What does it cost?

It depends on the shape and the market. Ask on the first call and you get a straight answer, not a proposal sent later.

Every one of these starts the same way.
